Christian sex education that bravely explores desire, consent, agency, mutual pleasure, contraception, addressing porn and toxic sexuality, for young, old, single or married, in the view that all these are important with the intention to wait for marriage but acknowledging the aspects of Christian sexual ethics realised outside of marriage.

Philippa Lowe

Phil is an entrepreneur,  Christian blogger, writer, preacher, evangelist and international mission senior executive. Before she became a Christian (in her 40s) she used to own a sex toys business… and then wondered if it was suitable once she’d met Jesus! Her pastor said, “I recommend them in all my pre-marriage courses,” but what Phil discovered was not all Christians were so open talking about sexuality and intimate relations. So the seed of the Ministry of Sex was planted.

Four years on, asking the same pastor a forthright question about her and her husband’s sexual relations, he spluttered and said, “You can’t ask me that, you’re a woman..and I’m a man.” What?!

And so the Ministry of Sex seed flowered: to be the place where people could ask such questions – and more!

Passionate about preventing domestic and intimate partner violence, Phil believes open, engaging dialogue about sex is part of God’s beautiful design.
